Yeah I pulled the goddamn trigger, just have to get the loan (which shouldn't be a problem considering I work for the bank I'm getting a loan from), and then pay the asinine tax+title+registration fees that the wonderful state of CT charges.

The car is so clean I probably wouldn't mind eating off of the underbody, has every record and receipt from day 1, and lived its life previously in Texas and North Carolina so there isn't a trace of rust. Just could not pass this car up.

Hopefully it will be in my driveway in a week or two at most.

Welcome to the club! Pro tip: don't drill that gorgeous front bumper for a stupid CT license plate. If you decide that you absolutely must be in compliance with your state's ridiculous law (I've read that a lot of people ignore it, so if you don't mind an occasional ticket, well....), get the tow hook license plate frame mount. It just screws in where the tow hook goes and therefore requires no drilling or hideous plate bracket, and you can take take it off whenever you want. Everyone wins (except CT, which should just get rid of the law).
